EXAMINATIONS / PROJECTS / COURSEWORK / ASSIGNMENT DEADLINES
It is essential you regularly check with the relevant examining borards, college notices, the student intranet or with your lecturer for information about deadlines for your course.  Please remember it is your responsibility to register your membership and examination entry.

ATTENDANCE AND PERFORMANCE
Students are expected to maintain a satisfactory level of performance, attendance and punctuality in their studies. You must ensure you attend your lectures regularly and on time. If you are late you may be refused admission to the class.

CCTV & COLLEGE SECURITY
The college installed CCTV in September and this is being supported with a revised theft, inconsiderate behaviour and incident pollicy - please see college notice boards for more information.  We ask staff and students to be vigilant and report anything suspicious or unusual without delay.

STUDENT RESOURCE CENTRE
The Student Resource Centre stocks recommended books, has a range of reference material and internet facility.

ABSENCE
If you are ill, we ask that you telephone the school office on the morning of your absence so this may be recorded on the school register. If you are absent due to illness for more than 3 days you must provide the school with a certificate of illness from your doctor.

CHANGE OF ADDRESS OR OTHER DETAILS
Please keep your details up to date. You must inform us if you have changed your address or other details.

USING MOBILE PHONES
All students should make sure that mobile phones are switched off during the lesson.

CLASSROOM ETIQUETTE
Food must not be consumed in classrooms. Drinks are not permitted into classrooms where computer or other technical equipment is in use.

HOLIDAYS
You must get permission from the college office if you want to go on holiday.

WORKING IN THE UK
As a student in the UK you are allowed to work up to 20 hours per week, and full-time in the holiday periods. Most students like to take on part-time jobs.

REGISTERING WITH A DOCTOR
You may need to prove you are a student in order to register with a doctor. Contact the college office if you need assistance.

FIRST AID
If you have a minor injury or accident, please report it to a member of staff. The College has fully trained first aiders available to help you.

FIRE DRILLS
These are held periodically. Please see fire regulations in your classroom.
